I was playing conservative on Matheson’s value as to not get raked over the coals.

Martinez, and his $5.25 will be off the books. Matheson is cheaper, younger, and better.

Hughes has too many LD coming up and already up, so losing both Harris and Matheson would be noticable - but
Guhle, Wifi, Stuble, Hutson (Norlinder and Engstrom also knocking on the door) will be more than enough to cover the side.
Cataford may end up in Laval, but could develop further into a serviceable fwd with the big club. If Matheson could get more of a haul, then it means there are more chips to trade for another forward.

I would like to see habs trade for a 13 - 17 pick.

I also hoping that Cayden Lindstrom is available at Montreal pick but I think someone like him will be gone before #7 or #8 pick.

Connelly seen an good goal scorer and could be decent addition to Montreal core forward.

One that intrigued me is Dean Letourneau 6.7 around 200 livre could be an decent pick around the Winnipeg pick near the end of first round.
