I think a 4th and 7th rounder is a fair value for Määttä, but I honestly do not see why the Kings might need him again. Mikey Anderson is signed for 7 more years at a great contract just over 4 Mil AAV, Gavrikov is feeling it in LA and has one more year left on his 5,875 Mil AAV deal and looking to extend after the 24/25 season. I think for the third D-pair the Kings shall stick with a guy like Englund, who is having a solid season and is signed for another year at 1 Mil AAV. Actually. he provides the KIngs some toughness and likes to drop the gloves. Would be a loss to lose him and have nobody on the roster that can protect your big guns. Certainly a guy like Jacob Moverare can jump in in case of injuries or Jordan Spence can play on his off side. Dont see why the Kings would take his 3 Mil AAV. Kings need to snatch a good goalie rather after this season or until TDL, need to resign Byfield, and need to make a few adjustments offensively, as they are most likely not resigning Arvidsson due to crazy injury history. The Kings should say no to this, but a 4th and 7th rounder is realistic with another team
