I think the only player who has any trade value is Savard.
I'd say a 2nd and a mid-tier prospect for Savard retained.
Hats off to Hughes if he can get a decent return on anything else.

I really think Pearson would find a team... last year contract and was playing really well before is injury.
Others would be bad contract swap I believe like Evans+ Allen for Johansen type of deal

You might be right about Pearson, maybe I'm a bit harsh. He just seemed... invisible since his return from injury.
Also, MTL don't have cap problems for the forseeable future, so swapping bad contracts are more of a side-step rather than a forward one IMO, unless you evaluate a guy like Johansen to be much better next year.

Assuming Nichushkin returns before the playoffs, the Avs will have Rantanen, Nichushkin, Lehkonen, Drouin, Parise, O'Connor, Wood, Kovalenko, Cogliano, Olofsson, and Kiviranta on the wing. I wouldn't say that group that couldn't be improved upon, but the holes at 2C, 4C, and backup goalie are too much of a priority to spend assets (and cap space) on a wing like Pearson.
