It costs a 1st to dump Ceci on Ottawa.

So, the trade with Ottawa is basically Chychrun for Broberg + a 3rd + two 5ths.

Ottawa declines.

Not sure how it costs a first to trade a serviceable 2nd pairing Dman to a team far out of a playoff spot for 30 games. Ceci is simply a salary filler.
