from an unemotional and unhistorical viewpoint, thats really close to Crosby for them to "change their course" and rebuild without Ryan Jo, (but they wont move crosby, if they did, malkin, letang, karlsson would be first)

Solid offer for Seeler, but if you're looking to offload Ryan Johansson thats the team to do it to, they'll have almost 10 mil in cap space, but would probably want a 3rd and 4th or equivalent for taking him

If they were trading Crosby, they would want massive futures for a rebuild. Not current roster players to waste on a rebuild.

To be fair, Byram is only in his early 20s, he could be a player for the long term future of the Pens

He'll be a UFA by the time PIT is competitive again. They will have 5+ years to rebuild.

Too old to go through the complete teardown required after trading Crosby. It will be long and painful.
