If you expect Hudson to in the 7\8 slot, why not have him in the AHL with Reinbacher?

No one goes with 4 or more kids, so Barron and Harris are probably out, and carry more value now than they will later (when theyre in AHL or healthy scratch):

I'd go with:

Guhle - Savard
Matheson - Struble
Xhekaj - Mailloux
Harris- Kovacevic

Barron is traded, Harris maybe is kept as the 4LD, with Hutson and Reinbacher in AHL, Ideally in 25-26, sign a top LD, let Matheson/Savard/Kovacevic go (trade) and have Reinbacher with Guhle and Hutson with Struble, or Hutson the year after

I am excited for Engstrom as well but he will be in the AHL next year.

It's not that I want him there, trying to find a scenario where he can play 15+ minutes a night.

But I do agree that he might have to begin in the AHL

I wouldn't worry about keeping Harris at that point as a healthy scratch.
Hopefully we trade him in a package while he has value.
Leave Kovy as the scratch and call up Trudeau and/or Hutson when needed for left-hand help.
