Try more like 6x6 for Gustav Forsling, For that joke of an offer Florida would already have had him re-signed.

And that pathetic offer for Pavel Buchnevich would be blown away considering he's one that Yzerman is targeting.

What's the issue? You don't want a worse player with a similar cap hit for a 1rst and 4th? Cmon!

Any trade with Buch to Vancouver is going to have to include Willander. Maybe Lekkerimaki, but most likely that wouldn't be enough.

Rumor has it that he's targeting both Buchnevich and or Vatrano.

In the Captain I trust but seems like the goal scoring department is pretty set. Gonna have to beat teams 7-6 soon

Don’t add value to Mikheyev if that’s what you’re doing here. He’s a fine player, but he’s not going to fit our deficiencies. This deadline it starts and ends with Willander. Don’t want to move him? That’s fine it’ll come down in the offseason/next deadline if he’s still available.

Deal for Buch starts with Lekkerimaki or Willander, a 1st and cap equalizer.

Not sure if you noticed, OP has this for 2024-25. You're not getting a blue-chip prospect for a rental. Buch's value would be far closer to the Lindholm trade, and less than Lindholm due to Buchnevich not being a centre and not being Selke-nominated. You'd be looking at a 1st + b-tier prospect + cap dump. Horvat is the other template to use, both were done by GMPA. 2025 1st + Podkolzin + Mikheyev would be my estimate.

If it was for this season, I think you'd get an extra high pick or b-tier prospect for the additional ~30-40 games. 2025 1st + Podkolzin + Mikheyev + Mynio + 2nd

You know I looked at the Cap and thought this was for 24 TD. Value would be a lot less next year but still more than offered in this package.

I don't agree with his value being less than or equal to Lindholm simply because Lindholm is a center. Buch is a better player overall and would be higher ranked compared to other wingers than Lindholm would be to other centers. The market would also have something to do with it. Buch is by far the most valuable winger to target in rather slim winger market, especially now that Guentzel is hurt. Plus it has been confirmed that Buch is not being shopped today, but calls are being taken and he would only moved for a package that wows. So he either doesn't get moved this season or there is a blue chip prospect involved.

Again, OP made this for 2024-25, not for this season. I'm not sure why you're trying to point to Buchnevich's value this season when the hypothetical is for next. This is for Buchnevich as a rental.

Over the past three seasons, Lindholm has more goals (77), equal points (185), and more games played (220) than Buchnevich has, while being a Selke nominee. Buchnevich's value would certainly be less than Lindholm's regardless of their positions, though the centre vs. winger dynamic compounds on that. Buchnevich is not worth more than Lindholm if both are rentals.

This isn't even matching what Lindholm got though.

2025 1st + Podkolzin + Mikheyev is better than what Lindholm got.

Lindholm earned 2024 1st + Brzuterwicz + Kuzmenko + 4th + Jurmo; Jurmo and the 4th are inconsequential, Mikheyev is better than Kuzmenko and Podkolzin is a better prospect than Brzuterwicz.

I was referring to the 1st, 4th, and Mikheyev.
