I got this hot take from a writer on Sportsnet… they stated NJ needs a goalie and the Hischer was redundant with a logjam at C… trade for immediate need?
Personally, I’d call Nashville or Calgary before Boston.

"Logjam at center"? NJ started Haula, Lazar and Nosek at center last game. They lost McLeod and have Jack on the wing right now and nothing in the pipeline. We're *desperate* for centers ourselves

Hischier is literally coming off a PPG season where he was 2nd in Selke voting lol. If there's a "Logjam" at C in NJD it's because nobody's ousting Hischier from that spot.

You certainly don't trade that type of player for a 31 year old goalie.
