Pat Verbeek passes, Detroit beats that offer and doesn't need retention on Vatrano. Detroit is listed as the front runner for him.

Canucks are not going after Vatrano.
If I was Vancouver, I would trade a first-round 2025 pick, a second-round 2026 pick, and Aatu Raty in exchange for Tarasenko (OTT retains 50%).

I feel like that’s decent value for Vatrano. But probably not enough for ANA to actually pull the trigger

I have to say that Staois should take that and run.

Pettersson (the defenseman) is a helluva nice looking prospect. Soup has a lot.of energy.

Really a solid offer that shouldn't be passed up.

But Vatrano is a pipe dream. If Detroit is in the running, Solderblom is very likely going the other way, and he checks off every Verbeek box.

Im a big fan of D petterson, great prospect, size and grit etc. But what a nightmare itll be if we have 2 Elias Pettersons on the team lol

hahah exactly, it was kind of funny when they drafted him but now that D petey is progressing well i could actually see a day where they do end up playing together. One of them is going to need a weird nickname thats for sure. Petey and Peter maybe? lol confusing
