If the Canes trade Necas I really doubt it would be futures. That being said, if they DID trade him for futures these seems like a fair deal. I'm a big fan of Perfetti, not so much Kupari but he still has a bit of intrigue due to being a 1st rounder.

Kupari and Perfetti aren't futures

Necas isn't on the block, but if he were I feel this offer could be beat. There's value in Perfetti being arb ineligible but for a team trying to win now, downgrading from Necas to Perfetti is not made up for with a 2nd and Kupari who just doesn't have much value in my eyes.

To me a future is an asset whose value is going to peak down the road. Right now Kupari and Perfetti are very young and also not playing up to their potential and still have a ways to go. Necas on the other hand is already a point per game player.
