laugh Gustav Forsling would already be re-signed by Florida if he was willing to take 4x4mil try more like 7x6.5mil

And Christopher Tanev will get around 3x3,5mil or 3 x 4.0mil not 2.3mil

those UFA signings are a crime against the players union.

The fact that Reilly with no retention gets a 3rd from FLA or that Eller gets a 2nd? Too much.

Team old is getting further away from a cup here, and extremely hopeful on some of these kids, but dont worry as long as Pulijarvi is your 13th forward, Im sure it will work out

yeah I probably lowballed forsling but come on 3 years at that $ is too much for tanev at 35 years old

Yeah well that's going to be the cost for Tanev like it or not. He's still a very good 2nd pairing RHD that blocks a lot of shots.

so Reilly is a decent addition to many contenders a 3rd isn't that much... plus it is not the point of the agcm... nobody cares if he gets a 3rd or 4th...

eller already went for a second as a rental last season, he is having a good year and has another year on his contract, value is more or less this one.

I didn't offer enough to forsling sure but other than that contract values are there.

also yes I believe that with this hypothetical lineup pit would definitely contend.

But neither are rentals, smith and eller are signed beyond 23-24, and a yr older and in reilly's case, not playing great for 5mil. Its not like a 3rd is amazing, its more about WHO wants him and would give up value for him.

But be real, Mantha goes from 5mil to 2mil? Tanev goes from 4.5mil to 2.3mil? Forsling, maybe the second best dman on the market signs for 4mil? Blueger for less than hes making now? The point is if you dont sign all those guys, you've got a HUGE hole and just Pulijarvi and Ludvig as your fill ins AND nothing on the prospect front

ANd not to mention ALL your key guys are older and unlikely to maintain results/health.

well, Mantha has to bet on himself, he has lost most of his value. tanev is old imo he won't get much, nothing over 3m. forsling I agree with you my mistake (we can find another dman to sign for 4 mil or trade for chychrun). blueger makes 1.9 and is a 4th liner how much should he make 120 mil ?!

"TDL to go all in" ?! WPG is subtracting Ehlers, one of our top forwards, and not adding anything that would help a playoff run?

Did you ever stop to think that maybe the defending Stanley Cup champs would want to keep Ehlers for their back-to-back run? Huh? Did you?

I don't think Ehlers will be trade bait at the 24-25 deadline. I believe he will be extended in the offseason or if in the off chance he wants to leave, then he is traded.
