Nope. Second and its not particularly close. We had this same conversation in the summer, you know, when you claimed Mercer was better. How'd that work out?

i've got no dog in this fight. i would definitely take sanderson over raymond. I'm not finding five guys i would take before him like the other poster, but definitely sanderson.

Sanderson has done nothing yet to indicate he's on the same level as Raymond. This list is about now, not what you think might happen in the future. Sanderson is a decent if ridiculously overpaid young defenseman with a lot of potential. Raymond is already one of the best young players in league. Hes first in u21 scoring in the NHL. Hell, hes got more goals and only 3 less points than Stutzle.

Being a Wings fan, I've often thought about what it would be like to have taken Sanderson. I think it's really close right now.

I honestly feel like you are low on Raymond.
You would take Jarvis over Mercer? I've actually been having that debate in my head right now over which one I would take.
Also Sanderson over Raymond is a debate in my head as well.
