If dealing Holtz….we’d probably be looking for guys with 2-3 years term left on contracts (or RFA)

Are there specific positions of need for NJ? Like obviously centers are set but maybe a middle 6 winger with term, a middle pair defenseman, etc?

Needs…

A solid veteran dman. Ideally age 22-28, defensively sound, reliable on d-zone exits…with term. Preferably LHD.

A younger 3C option, preferably can play defensive situations, with some size; ability on forecheck to peel puck off boards.

A number one goalie

Another finishing winger if we let Toffoli walk and are trading Holtz. Could be Clarke or Gritsyuk internally.

A head coach.
