Johnson will get more than a 6th, at least a 4th, probably a 3rd

Hawks might do that if it comes down to 3pm on deadline day. Think it takes a 3rd to get Tyler J half retained.

To retain 2.5 will cost at least a 4th alone n then to get a 3rd line player is worth a 3rd or 4th. I think he'll go for a 2nd or a 3rd n 5th. He can play all 3 positions n center r scarce right now

Your take makes sense. But with the injury issues Johnson has had over the last 3 seasons, I doubt the Hawks get more than a 3rd. If they do, great! His versatility and playoff experience are definitely pluses.
