Could see something around Tarasenko and DeBrusk, depending on if Jake would want to sign in Ottawa or not. Tarasenko definitely helps BOS more for the playoff run, and Ottawa gets a longer term 3rd line winger with some experience instead of just a pick.

Still think BOS adds but wouldn't be much

I can't see Edmonton giving up Holloway or Los Angeles giving up Turcotte for an expiring free agent De Brusk.

I’d rather risk losing DeBrusk as a free agent and sign a player to replace him than trade him for young pieces that aren’t close to him as a two way player for this years run.

The chances of him returning to his normal shooting percentage is higher than either of those players displaying a degree of competence this year. I’d rather make the play this year and treat DeBrusk as the trade deadline keep than sell him

These Calgary deals are just as bad as their asks for Lohrei and a first or Poitras and a first. There needs to be more value for both sides. There comes a point where it’s worth taking the risk that Hanifin makes it to free agency, but this one is way too favorable for Boston
