Jarvis is 22 years old and on pace for a 66 point season. Why would Carolina consider moving someone like that in the middle of their Stanley Cup window? Especially for a bottom-6 forward and a (likely) late 1st Round Pick in next year's draft?

Canes have no reason to move Jarvis unless the offer blows them away. He was off the table for Meier, likely not included in the rumored Petersson offer. A late first and Dellandrea do not move the needle an iota for the Canes.
