Description

-Mustard is WAY better than Ketchup. Ketchup is just more versatile
-Im gonna be the crazy one to hang onto ByeJo for C depth, in case of injury and praying on him repeating a strong playoff performance as he has in the past. Moving him at the draft, potentially after a decent playoff run, would be cheaper too
-Realistically the FLA trade is much more of an offseason trade, but thats no fun. Friedman also recently said he's heard Lundell's name out there a little bit
-Debated Reimer vs Kahkonen vs Fleury. Decided I wanted someone who was a bit more veteran than Kahkonen, and who wasn't almost 40 years old

Think so? Interesting. CGY has liked players who can jump into the lineup now (Toffoli for Sharangovich, etc), which Myers could do, along with a 1st and 3rd.

Can always replace the 3rd with a prospect or 2nd

Conroy apparently declined a 1st for Tanev because he’s not high on this years Draft, so this offers won’t get Hanifin and it’ll easily be beat

Rather get Byram in a deal for Hanifin, but I don’t see Hanifin going to COL. I could see him going to FLA and Lundell being a Target for the Flames though

Byram for a rental is laughable so I won't comment on that.

I highly doubt that Conroy was offered a 1st for Tanev, but rejected it and accepted a 2nd and C-level prospect. That makes literally no sense

Those are the rumors. Whether it was COL sending RyJo or EDM sending Ceci or both is uncertain. Conroy valued Grushnikov and the need for a strong skating stay at home defender more than a late 1st in a not so great draft is the conclusion

Flames needs are at Centre and Defence, not the Wings

Hanifin with an extension in place for Byram + a Cap Dump in RyJo maybe!? Again, I don’t see Hanifin going to COL so it’s a mute point, other than maybe it’s a 3-Team trade in which CGY gets Byram, COL gets Lundell and FLA gets Hanifin

I think the Lundell deal might make sense in the off season perhaps but unlikely now and he seems to be on a downward trajectory atm. Not sure I'd want to chance him as the 2C this year for a cup run. Likewise for FLA it doesn't make sense to add Bo at present. Reimer isn't the worst option but Wings have Husso injured. Calgary probably gets a better offer for Hanifin (though not Byram better, that's absurd) and the Avs shouldn't do it though it's moot anyway as the Byram - Lundell move likely doesn't happen until the off season.
