Los Angeles has been patient with Alex Turcotte so far. No reason to abandon that strategy now that he's finally showing signs of being the guy the Kings drafted fifth overall.

I'm extremely high on Turcotte and even I think that would be asinine.

I'd offer sheet him in the 2nd round pick range personally if I was a GM, or at least use that possibility as a negotiating tool.

Those guys would have all been matched at anything short of giving them 5 mill, and then giving up a 1st+3rd on top of it.

I agree an offer sheet is unlikely, but a trade isn't out of the question.
