Keep drinking. It's the weekend.

Look like good conservative trades for the most part. Not sure the Penguins make trade #5. I'd rather hold onto Gushchin and Thrun anyway.

I don't think the Leafs give up Liljegren. Ask for picks instead. I still maintain Ferraro is worth a 1st.

The Athletic just ranked the sharks prospect pool as 4th best in the NHL. Thrun was the 5th ranked prospect and Gushchin was 10th. Thrun is already in the NHL and Gushchin is doing well in the AHL (he was an all star this year) so he’s probably ready for a look in the NHL. Addison is more of lotto ticket but he’s a former top prospect with some upside.

So the Penguins get 3 young NHL players while freeing up about $6M in cap space (assuming the 3 Sharks make about $1M each) to try and retool while they still have Crosby playing at an elite level.

PIT would never, in a million years, even spit in the direction of that offer lmao.

Leafs would be interested in Ferraro for sure. They aren't moving Liljegren their only right shot RD RFA. Idk the value of him but a first sounds about right for the stats l have seen.
