Description

Buffalo need to make some moves this year and stop expecting career years from each of their players.

Allen adds some stability in net and more importantly a mentor for Buffalo's young goalies (Levi). Ylonen gives a player who fits with the age of the team and still has middle 6 potential

I get that this looks a lot like Ryder, Halak and a 2nd, it essentially is. But Rosen has been arguably underperforming and might be better suited for a team which is more on his growth timeline (no pressure to come in and be that guy)

It is a bet on how Rosen will perform. For Buffalo its a sell while he still has value and get some solid support pieces along the way

Not against Rosen moving, like him as a player but is redundant for Buffalo. Try a decent D prospect and that fits a hole better for Buffalo.
