Any reason why Elias Lindholm isn’t back? You guys paid a lot to acquire him and he has connections to Rutherford.

If someone wants to pay him Horvat money he's gone pretty much. I do think something around Kadri he could be re-signed. But not if we are bringing Toffoli in other issue is we keep making our defense worse which doesn't make sense. Unless the front office is happy with Wolanin or Hirose (eventhough I do think D-Petey will convert to NA game pretty fast still will need sometime to get used to it). Plus I don't think they want Podkolzin on the 4th line as that was what caused his confidence issue to begin with.

That makes sense, especially since it’s a cap league after all. There is money coming off the books, but also the OEL buyout will eventually sting a bit. Regardless, I hope you all go the distance. Your city needs a deep playoff run.

Purely cap reasons. If they can bring him back at a reasonable rate I'd be fine with it, but I don't want the team spending huge money on him.

Technically this defence is the same, minus Myers, but I get your point. I waffled back-and-forth between signing Tanev and letting Joshua and Cole walk, but I love what Joshua brings to the team.
