How was this team not able to perform better with all of that talent. Legitimately confused by both Ottawa and Buffalo this year. Is it coaching? Goaltending? I really thought both teams would push with Detroit in an attempt to make the playoffs.

Sens have like .880 save percentage this year.

And have allowed the first goal on one of the first 2 shots in 15 games this year .

And they’re missing Nick Seeler type of Dmen on this team

Oh boy, that would definitely do it. That’s actually an insane stat. Puts you behind the eight ball in like 25% of games played. Worst part is Korpisalo is signed long term. Might be better off acquiring that Nick Seeler type d man (I know easier said than done).
