I think Boston but that might just be hometown bias

He Definitely signs with Boston which sucks for the rest of the league because he is a very high end talent.

And yes he is better that Knies

Not that high, if you ask me. There's a fairly long list of 21s better than him that are ranked lower here. Graf over Knies and Wallstedt is just kooky.

It’s a good question that a lot of people are asking.

Carolina, Florida, Nashville, Detroit, Boston seem to be the teams that think they have got inside track.

I’ve asked everyone I know that is in NCAA…nobody knows anything. He likely gets offers from almost every team.

If he asks for ice time on big club right away…there may be other teams in a position to promise that.

If it was ‘definitely [any team]’ other GMs would not be going to every game. He has had four visit to watch just in last two weekends (one being Boston).

He is two spots above Knies…likely same tier as Knies, Coronato, etc.

Best NCAA free agent to come along in many years. Few, if any, holes in his game.

I dunno…it’s a pretty unique thing.

Not a easy one.

That is an extraordinarily low bar. Knies is enjoying a capable rookie season on the top line of a contender in the hottest pizza oven of a hockey market on Earth, at least until they finally win one. Knies also plays to the interior and isn't really skinny, two things that are probably at least somewhat connected. If Graf had no flaws, he likely would not be an NCAA free agent at 21.

But we shall see soon enough.

That doesn’t really say anything. He has been one of best players in NCAA last two years, after his draft eligibility.

Watch him play

When someone says he's the best college free agent in a while, pointing out how dramatically low that bar is says everything. That would be like saying I make the best mac n cheese on Jupiter. Yeah, sure, that's probably true, but also not inherently impressive by comparison.

I would ask what you’re doing on Jupiter

NCAA continues to improve, attract better player. Scouting is improving, fewer guys fall through cracks. Covid hits, scouting limited to video. Some of those kids that were draft-eligible and underscouted are now upperclassmen are crushing it. And now GMs are all over this kid.

He signs with Montreal, we have a ready to be bottom six spot open if he signs and Hughes knows his Mass/Maine/New Hamp guys, he doesn't have to go see him cause he did for years in his backyard already.
