No way Kyle Dubas got a 7 year deal from FSG and Sullivan has a new contract extension starting next year, so he isn't getting fired. Sure his isn't even finished with his first season as Pens GM and inherited a mess. But he won ONE playoff series with a star studded Maple Leafs team. Yes it the Maple Leafs and stuff and they are cursed, but still how does that prove to get a long contract. Sullivan has lost this team, but that was a long time ago. Harkins playing every night because why? He won a shootout in like the 13th round or whatever it was vs Montreal. Carter playing every night? Yes he was good at faceoffs but he doesn't even take them anymore. Every single move they've made has backfired. Graves for 6 years, he is just tall and thats about it. Traded and gave up a lot of cap space for a Karlsson when you already pretty much have the same exact player. Reily Smith had about two good weeks with the Pens, he just isn't a good fit with the team. Eller and Acciari have been as advertised, and sucks Eller might be on his way out in a few days. Goaltending shockingly has been one of the few bright spots this season with Jarry being the least of our problems. Pains me to say that as a avid Jarry hatter lol. He hasn't been vezina caliber, but has been solid and makes it a lot more surprising with the terrible defense in front of him. A revolving door with POJ, Ludvig, and Shea when POJ clearly the best of the three. Ty Smith not even getting a hint at the NHL. Sure he plays a similar style to EK65 and Letang, but he was a 1st rounder and has shown he has skill and promise at the NHL level. Pettersson is the ONLY guy on the blue line who understand the concept of defending. Chad Ruhwedel is Chad Ruhwedel, I think everyone knows what to expect from him. The Puljujarvi signing I won't go much into because he looks to not be fully healthy from his surgery, and is a low risk high reward move. The power play is been dreadful. It just sucks. Not going to get into semantics, but it is terrible. Its gonna suck to see, but goodbye Jake. Good luck in Vancouver, Edmonton, or Vegas. Hopefully we can gets a good return. It sucks to see Sids final years being wasted by poor management. Us Pens fans are the last ones to complain and most fanbases would die to have a quarter of the success we've had throughout the year with going from Mario and Jagr to Sid and Geno. I've been saying for 2 years not that Sully needs to go.
He's lost the room, no one cares about his BS anymore and he doesn't know how to coach. 1 trick pony and the trick is old.
