Description

I don't see a way for the Kings and Bruins to make this trade without Roy. Vegas can't hide Bjornfot much longer, they'll have to waive him and the Kings can collect him back from the waiver wire. A lot of moving pieces out there right now that can influence where the Kings roster ends up at the TDL.

I would rather have Roy than Ullmark, and not just because I think that our chances of re-signing Roy are better this summer than our chances of re-signing Ullmark in 2025.

I don't disagree, but the rumors are a swirling. The Kings want to resign Roy in the offseason, but I'm not sure how they would pull of a trade with Boston without moving him.

The Kings just signed Aaron Dell to a NHL contract to be the backup to Portillo in the AHL and 3rd goaltender for the Kings. They're out of the goalie market until the summer.

They might look at Ullmark as a one-year option at the draft.

The Dell signing could mean Cam or Dave is potentially part of the package going the other way to back-up Swayman.
