Calgary insider says latest NJD offer has no premium assets

The whole Calgary Puck insiders thing is completely new to me over last few weeks, but CGY fans seem to think they often get it right. (I am highly skeptical). But here is what they said about latest NJD offer for Markstrom (without retention):

“I have been told it is a garbage offer with no premium assets, just offering a Dion deal. Quantity over quality.”

(Just for point of reference, a number of places had reported the the original deal that was agreed to, and Markstrom waived for, was Holtz for Markstrom with about $2 million retained)

ever since the first fallout with this trade, Im not taking an insider serious until this situation is over. like everything they have said has not happened based off their "timeline" lol

Teams aren’t trading premium assets for a 34.5 year old goalie at a premium aav. Not real surprising.

Calgary Puck (95%), The Win Column (100%), Flames Nation to a lesser extent are all reactionary garbage with people looking to get attention and clicks. Within the Calgary market unless it's coming from Steinberg, Francis, somewhat Serivalli, Valji, Leslie and a couple others it's just garbage 99% of the time. Flames Twitter is stocked with guy who copy and paste quotes form insiders and consider themselves to be Flames writers. Could be the worst community on the internet.

As a Flames fan I would definitely tell you not to.. haha. It's all just Tweets that are copied in or something someone heard on the radio, there's one guy who works at a car dealership that Dan Vladar leases his vehicles from that thinks he's an insider now because he knew Vladar was starting a day before the line up came out. People in Canada all want to have a connection that no one else does to the home team, half those guys are just copying the other half leading to everyone being wrong!
