I know the Hanifin/Cirelli deaal will be the one to get the most attention. I'd break it down like this:

Salaries are pitifully low. Bloom is off the rose for Cirelli. Very useful player but how many Blake Coleman's can you be paying 6 mil a year to?

Keep in mind Kane and Pac are eligible for performance bonuses and I gave Stammer a lower AAV for a longer contract.

Kane is 5 mil min next year and most likely a Red Wing, Monahan is going to get more and certainly not going to sign for 1 year. Stamkos shouldn't be on any other team.

Kane can make a ton in bonuses, his AAV means nothing. I love Monahan, one of my favorite players ever, but his injury history is going to make it hard to get more than a 1 year contract until he has multiple healthy seasons.

Calgary balks at retention on Mangiapane and again at taking on Cirelli's contract. The 1st + 3rd + one of the other players gets Hanifin.
