How good is Zachary Jones, we do not really need more mediocre LD

My problem with Jake Pretzel is that there's a 0% chance we can reasonably re-sign him. If we give up on Kakko, it's got to be for someone with term like Vatrano.

It's a really nice lineup, though. I agree with Duclair, though I think it'd cost more than that.

NYR would definitely need to add more. Let's leave it at that haha. Jones has some decent offense potential.

As for Duclair..... if by fun you mean a guy who drifts around the blue line looking to cherry pick goals instead of helping his teammates out in his own end, then yeah good luck with that.
There is a reason Torts chased him right the hell out of CBJ, he just wants to be the goal scoring hero..... never mind actually doing anything else on the ice to help the team win.

A recent podcast from NYR writer Vince Mercogliano had a scout saying he'd be getting regular time for 40% of teams in the league. But then again, league sources are telling the same guy NYR might be looking for 6/7D options.

Looks like Bogosian is signing an extension in Minnesota.

Jones and Gustafsson are pretty much the same player. The 6/7 comment was about the Rangers getting bigger/heavier on defense for the playoffs (someone like Bogosian).

I mean he would probably get NHL time on San Jose, but again, there is no improvement for San Jose, it would just be another 6-7 dman on a good team playing 3-4 on a bad team which does not help them yk, unless you think he has like potential

Guentzel is small, not fast, no physical benefits.

The Rangers actually need a goal scoring hero, so if he can actually do it, then hell yeah I want that. Nearly every RW they’ve been linked to has poor defensive metrics, so bring him on.
