I think Deslauriers on Florida would be fitting but at the same time kinda gross.

A few things:
Brink and Zamula cap hit will be in the 1.75 range.
Zero chance I sign Forsling to a 7M cap hit. Montour? yes.
Walker gets closer to 4M cap hit

So all those numbers are off. Tampa and Carolina deals are nixed.

TBF, Forsling has great stats. 62GP, 31 points with a 43 +/-. I think teams will overpay for him because he's only 27 and just getting into his prime. $7.15 million might be a overpay, but he's only 27 and is playing his best season. With the cap going up, I don't think $7.15 is terrible.

Some team may pay it; I prefer the Flyers do not. He also start off hot with Montour on the IR.

Also, I overpaid Brink/Zamula because they're both young and are having great season. I believe other teams will push hard for them because of their age/potential. I diffidently want them to stay around the organization for a while.

I think if there's a way to add to the leafs trade with someone like Hathaway or Poehling they might be willing to add a bit...otherwise I'm not sure I see them using the 1st on a pure rental

Laughton isn't worth a 1st. And Edmonton likely wouldn't be the high bidder anyhow, as they have at least 4 better centers.

It's been confirmed with the league that Minnesota can't broker deals this season because we're deep into LTIR.
