Oilers pass - Oilers can't afford Guentzel and they're completely done with the amount of trades they made.

Kings decline. They have no use for either player.

Not even Ned for goaltending? Solid Backup

Copley is a UFA on the LTIR list until the playoffs, so it's hard to see why either team would include him in this deal, and the Kings would rather have the signing rights to Mario Lemieux than Jeff Carter, even with retention. Los Angeles will go into the playoffs with Cam Talbot and David Rittich in goal and after you constructed this, the Kings signed Aaron Dell and Jacob Ingham as goalie-injury insurance.

Both Kings goaltenders playing very well right now.

Talbot had a bad month in December, but since the All Star break, he's 4-1-1 with a .943 SV% and a 1.74 GAA.

Rittich has been solid all season, going 9-4-3 with a .914 SV% and a 2.32 GAA.

The Kings have lots of problems right now, but goaltending isn't one of them.
