He’s not goin anywhere but even if there was some tiny chance we wouldn’t trade him this summer. He will get an extension of some length (probably short term) and then by 2025 when we suck ever more that could be the time.

This wasn't well thought out was it? Crosby will a FA in 2025 and therefore no one would be giving up anything for him, they would just sign him. Any deal would have to be made in the summer of 2024

He will be extended in July of this year, so yes it’s been thought out.

Cool then we can have him retire here. That’s hardly a problem.

I expect that's the likely scenario.

By the time Montreal would want him, he'll be a free agent.
Adding Crosby now (at the cost of assets) isn't going to help our defense.
The only thing that will make our D core contenders, is time.

He'll do whatever he wants. I'm assuming he retires with Pittsburgh. If he wants to try something new, he will.
If he signs a contract it's not to be traded.

He’s going to be extended this summer. He didn’t tell the team to resign his best friends 2 summer’s ago to turn around and walk away from them.

Then he won't be leaving Pittsburgh. If you know that, there's no point making proposals.

There are numerous ACGM’s involving him from the teams above and they’re all bad. I only made this to show what it would have to cost to make it remotely worth our while to trade the guy who puts the people in the seats.

If he is extended this summer, it will have a full NMC attached therefore rendering any 2025 trade impossible since he won't waive it.

I understand that. The point of this was to address these 3 fanbases that make bad Crosby ACGMs all the time.
