If Phillys retaining make that at least a 2nd. Why would they retain on a cap dump for a cap dump trade? Also ryjo played at least this year Lehner hasn't played for 2 years. It's an interesting idea but you're not getting Ryjo retained idk if it'd be 1 for 1 anyways but definitely no retention.

I didnt realize that. So if LTIR it is insurance who pays that?

It depends on the team. Clarkson was traded for Horton (contract for contract) because Columbus didn't insure Horton, but Clarkson's was.
