I think it is a pretty fair price for a solid face off guy in his prime with an affordable three year contract.

Vegas would accept a trade for Haula for less than this. We don't need to send a 1st round pick to acquire him. A 3rd or 2nd would be fine. But I still think that there're better options than him. More expensive, but we can use Hagelin, Sheary and/or Pouliot to acquire a player like Henrique or Bozak. Not all three, but one or two of them.

I gave you a 5 because other people graded you super duper low because you didn't go after a name they know. I don't think it takes a 1st get him and would really like to add one of Vegas' young defenders in the deal (Schmidt, McNabb, Merrill, even Miller) but that would require we open some salary by moving a fairly well paid player (Maatta, Hagelin, Sheary,Reaves). Just for Haula it would probably take Kuhnhackle, and a 3rd.

I like Haula, at 3 yrs, $2.7m, 26yr, great speed, faces offs, PK, and PP, etc ... an he's also played wing and on a very heavy forward team in MIN, that plugged him in at 4C and he stilled scored 26 p in 72gms. If he doesn't work out at C (or another option opens up) he's fast enough to keep up with super stars and is a rather skilled hockey player who can add to the great depth at forward potentially making a more expensive guy expendable. He could out produce Hagelin playing on the 3rd line at C or W, and is about as solid defensively, with the option of taking face offs.
