Right now the Caps are one and a half games out of a playoff spot (due to RWs). Who do you think is more likely to help Washington close the gap: Dowd, Fehervary and Jensen, or Robertson and Liljegren?

Other teams don't exist just to help Toronto get over the hump.

They just sold Toffoli. They may acquire Markstrom, but even then, he hasn't been the model of consistency.

Flames are probably strategically trying to build towards the future and have a few good goalies in the pipe? why not sell him while his tag is high?
