Description

Blues sign a 20 goal scorer at a similar price in free agency to play RW2 then transition to RW3 in a couple years (Debrusk was just who came to mind). Scorey Krug situation is not dealt with although a buyout isn't the worst thing in the world. Ian Cole comes back to the city he loves and gives the younger d prospects another year of sheltered development minutes. Forward line 3 is pure vibes and kevin hayes politely ****s off to hang out with the 4's. #letsnuggycook

I’m okay with it, but maybes:

The middle of the lineup is a really scary hole.

If there were a way to push Schenn to wing…

Alexandrov should still be in the mix. It would be nice if he came back next year and was able to fully assume a role.

Bolduc is not a center. He's a LW. For that reason and more, it makes much more sense to sign a C (like Stephenson) than it does to sign a W.

More than anything, though, not dealing with the Krug situation is simply no longer feasible. It must be dealt with.

blues will find a way to move out one of leddy, krug, or faulk in the offseason. wether its a trade, buyout, waivers... Something will change on the backend.
