So you guys are "rebuilding" but keeping Crosby, Malkin, and Letang? doesn't seem like a rebuild or too smart.

Full NMCs. How exactly do you plan on moving them? Core isn't good enough to compete. Dubas is stuck in a bad spot, but is paid a lot to make the best out of the situation.

I mean if you really wanted to get rid of a player you could put them on waivers... Look at Washington and Kuznetsov. At this point getting rid of them and the cap space would be better for Pittsburgh than losing them for nothing. You could always replace what they bring through free agency. (maybe not crosby and you could keep him)

You're selling low on everyone. MP28 gets a 1st and B+ or better prospect, Jarry pretty much the same or from NJ Holtz and a 2nd. Smith trade is fine. Eller can get a 3rd without retention. And EK65 the value just isnt worth trading him tbh
