Third line centre who doesn’t skate like he permanently wears ankle weights and is decent defensively.

I don’t think Montreal has that. Centres are either better than my description or worse.

Anyone who says Dvorak has to spend a week camping out in that grimey area near berri-uqam

I agree on Dvorak but kinda am shocked no one gives Jake Evans any Respect
Im not saying he's great but he's top 10 in basically every MTL stats line from top to bottom
Minutes wise he's 10th-13th upgrading as trades were made and now playing top 10 minutes on par with the average he's held everywhere else.

Is he fast? depends on the Position
Play him on Wing you'll go "when did he learn how to skate"
Play him on Center he's defense first, last and always never over skating and sacrificing position.
Think of him a little like Pageau as his speed goes off the charts when you move him to wing but at center he's going 1/3rd his capable speed.
Center's got more on their plate and got to play tactically

Again you dont have to take him
Im just saying its kinda harsh overlooking our teams 2nd best faceoff Center who plays a solid 3rd line role for us making Dvo long past Expendable
IMO DVO needs a substance abuse program or just a good summer detox cause the bloating he has on the work out schedule he does is from the Beer
He gets that crap out of his system he'll improve but at about age 25 your body reminds you you're not invincible and things you could soldier through before need adapted to now.

I dont have an issue with Evans. I think he's great at what he does and Id take him on my team. But the Sabres specifically need someone better than that for the 3C spot.

In a way I did. We dont have room for another d-man, that eliminates half this list. And we need the next forward add to be a legit nhl player. Which eliminates the rest

So Armia? Legit third liner. Or RHP. Or Ylonen. Or Evans

None of these are centres except evans, who isnt a guy who can work well in a trap game at the level that we need.
