Yikes no. Trouba 1.1m retained could net us a late 1st easy. We're not buying him out lol. Even then, we will still need him next year too. Same with Lindgren, considering there's no UFA Ds that make sense, Forsling signed and Hanifin wants sunshine. Zad Kulikov or Hakanpaa could fit.
Goody 1.1m retained also, could net a mid pick and is way better in the long run.

Well that is wrong. Valued for the great dirty work he does. Sure, he has no offense and would miss an empty net but I'ts baffling how some fans don't see all of the other stuff?

I just fundamentally disagree with you here. He is not good defensively at all. Its insane we utilize him on empty net up 1 situations and honestly he shouldnt be on the ice in games the Rangers are winning by 2+ goals in really any situation. Wildly below replacement level player.
