I'm puzzled as to why a Detroit fan thinks that the Red Wings would pay so heavily to get rid of Robby Fabbri and local boy Andrew Copp, never mind that your GM is Stevie Yzerman.

I'd imagine that Buchelnikov is on a weird "Do not touch" list in Detroit.

As in, he wont be valued very highly as a trade piece, and his potential is so great that Detroit would be stupid to trade him for that value.

I don't get it. Pay a ton to dump Copp and Fabbri and then sign Mantha to a ridiculous contract. The cap hits are basically the same with the retention. I can't even say if Mantha would even be an upgrade over either of those two players.
No issues with Hague but why not just play Chiarot there and Petry on the ride side.
Roy probably gets more.
Can't see all those young guys on the team. I bet Kasper starts in Grand Rapids. Berggren better be on the team. Mazur possibly.
Having a responsible guy like Copp will help the young guys transition better.

You're not really paying that much, and assuming Kasper or Danielson make a huge jump (which is the assumption here) there is a C spot that needs to be open. It's basically the Ryjo deal with Anaheim buying Copp out a reduced hit.
Yes this is mostly unrealistic, except Mantha is a much better player than Fabbri and Copp - he's a 20 goal scorer at least and drives offense all the time. This is a much better Wings team than Mantha was on before.
Hague is a young, cost-controlled Dman that plays shutdown D. He's a much better option than Petry. Vegas needs to make a move if they want to keep that roster together so I expect some type of move to be made (Hague, Whitecloud, McNabb, etc.)
Kasper and Mazur prob not on the squad but again, just living in la la land for the most part.
