Because when healthy he is a consistently good goalie. His biggest issue is durability.

Campbell and a 2026 and 2027 or 2028 first for Jarry. Just not sure Jarry would go to EDM.

Oilers have a great value goalie in Skinner. There is lots of goalies available this summer, a lot cheaper than Jarry. Oilers don't have the cap for Jarry either

oilers has skinner who is just as good so no need for jarry at all its a non start

only reason Jarry wouldnt come here is because Skinner would still probably be the start in managment eyes.
other than that he played his JR career in the same building with great success.

Oilers would not be interested at all in Jarry anyways cuz they have skinner. it would have to be a clear and major upgrade.
