The inclusion of Greig makes this at least interesting. If, say, the Avs win the Cup this year, and then Rantanen wants $13m per year on his next deal, then this surely could make good sense for them. It's the dang chemistry Rantanen has with MacKinnon that makes it just so near impossible. Like Draisaitl being traded. But, if they win the Cup again this year, this would be a pretty solid re-tool for them.

For Ottawa, swapping Chychrun for Girard probably makes no sense. They'd be trading Chychrun to be rid of a left shooting D-man, while this makes it even Steven. And totally blocks Tyler Kleven from the lineup for a few years to come. But Rantanen...

Avs would NEVER trade mikko. I think we should be able to afford it but might need to dump someone off. But yk,we will get mikko rantanen and he is like one of the keys to this team
