I think it's definitely intriguing offer, Mikko and Laine on the same team could be fun. I didn't realize that gaudreau was at 9.75 though

Yes. He's a UFA in the summer of 2025. Never mind he probably doesn't have CBJ on his trade list.

I think if the trade happened there'd be an extension in place. It's only 9 teams. Arizona, San Jose, Anaheim, Canadian teams

Do you know what his trade list is??? It's still terrible for CBJ. Keep the young players and then spend 9m on a UFA.

That list seems reasonable unless he going straight for money then he'd probably be ok with Arizona . Columbus could afford him at 11.5-12.5

Not sure why it such a reasonable list at all. Most players on what might be their last contract almost always don't want to go on one the worse teams in the league.
