    The Sens are not trading Pinto, and certainly not for that offer.

    Theoretically, if the Sens wanted to move Pinto it would only be for an upgrade at a key position.

    So for example, Pinto for Pulock and Wahlstrom or something like that.

    Hawks probably consider that. Although I could also see Kyle from Chicago taking Lee at his full cap hit and asking for another pick or a prospect instead of the retention.

    Same. Could probably send Lee and 2nd without retention and we'd accept. $7M for 2 seasons helps the cap floor.

    His two years left is ideal for Hawks. And he's still a 20 goal guy. More a cap casualty than a cap dump. Like Hall.

    True, which is another reason Pinto won't be traded.
