No, Anaheim builds from the bottom up, not the top down. We're the exact opposite of Toronto, and aren't going to make the same mistake the Maple Leafs are now locked into. And as a small-market team, we couldn't afford Mitch Marner's next contract.

There's a fairly strong likelihood that Terry and McTavish, on McTavish's next contract, cost less than Marner and Minten, on Marners next contract.

While Terry is no Marner, I'd argue his value proposition at 7 million is better than Marners at 12.5-13
