Salary Cap Mode: Basic

Description

Fantasy team for players who have been a Leaf or should have been a leaf.
Conner and Gudas have been free agents. Leafs should have made an attempt to sign them both.
Trading a first (Seth) or keeping Marleau an extra year when the Leafs were not ready to contend.
Signing Muzzin when the Leafs were not a contender gave up good young talent.
Seattle expansion and protecting McCann should have happened.
You don't over pay for a marque player when you have the best second line center in Kadri. BTW Leafs have not won since Kadri was traded.

Just a little info. The Leafs never won with Kadri. Although Kadri is playing well, I don't know if his contract will hold up well. He'll be 34 in October with five full season left.
How do you know the Leaf never made an attempt to sign Gudas and Clifton?

The truth is; they are ready to contend but it's a 1 in 32 chance at winning so odds say they won't win it but everyone wants to pretend they will eventually
