Description
Based these signings on what comparable players signed for on their teams and used their "gross" wage (or similar) to gauge the contracts in Florida. With Florida's tax advantage, they can sign players for significantly less and the player takes home the same pay.

Reinhart contract I used Nylander as a comparable. Very similar income after taxes.

Montour I used Weegar comparable. Again similar income after taxes.

Lundell I was going to use a Dach comparison but instead used a comparison of him signing a 3.7M deal with Montreal, since a Montreal fan sending an other sheet for Lundell is why I thought of doing this.

Fourth line can be filled in with whatever, lots of cap.

I traded Knight as he is an easy way to dump a bit of cap. There should be a couple teams willing to take a chance on him, picked Jersey just cause they seem to be the most involved in the goalie market.

If lundy gets offer sheeted at like 4.5x4 would you take the 1st and 3rd, or would you move a guy like Rodrigues or Loustarinen to match it?

Florida can offer 3.5M and it would be the equivalent of 4.5M from say Montreal.

I never actually thought about flexing your tax free status to counter offer sheets. Great Point.

If players paid their salaries in personal taxes it would be.

There are a ton of better UFA goalies than Knight. Heck the Panthers don't even want him on their team. He certainly isn't an easy cap dump.
