I assume Vilardi would instantly go back to the top line because it’s tough to separate him Scheifs and Connor, then Toffoli will play with Monahan and Ehlers

He would be rotating with Barron, forgot to clarify that. Vilardi would be back with Schief and KC. The lines would look like this:

KC-Schief-Vilardi
Ehlers-Monahan-Toffoli
Appleton-Lowry-Niederreiter
Perfetti/McGroarty/Barron (one of the three)-Vladdy-Iafallo

Or do this:

Ehlers-Schief-Vilardi
KC-Monahan-Toffoli
Niederreiter-Lowry-McGroarty
Appleton-Vladdy-Iafallo

I mean, I hope the kid (Rutger) is this good that he can be put on the top line playing his off wing for the playoffs in the NHL but... Maybe in a year or 3!

You don't wanna break up Ehlers-Monahan-Toffoli, that was our best line during the three game winning streak. Also Bones will absolutely refuse to break up Nino-Lows-Apple. I don't want the kid playing fourth line so 1st line is the only option.
