Lou says no but should say yes. He will hold out unless its 5 1st rounders

idk about on the 4th line but Pageau is still good. We just coach him horrifically. He plays with the worst players and gets put in the most awful situations to start shifts. Very confident on a better team he will be good again

OTT easily declines last 2 trades.

not even close for OTT to send chych within division.

and easy pass on a 5M player who is not a 4th liner

How about Pageau and a 2nd for Pinto and those picks? (I wish I wasn't partially joking)

Not even close is hysterical. You aren't going to get much more from anyone in the league. The division trading isn't what it used to be and the price tag isn't that much higher, it's about right

Detroit isn't the right team for Chychrun.

Edvinsson will be in their top 4 at LD.

Actually he already is.

MP is a top pairing left Dman. I think he wouldn't be a great fit on Ottawa knowing their LD depth.
But if ottawa is that interested I could see the pens trying to make a deal around MP for Pinto. The 1st isn't all that interesting to the pens unless they decide to do a full rebuild

Yeah I dont think he is a fourth liner either, hes just penciled in there because Im not sure how the norris injury is looking like timeline wise. If norris misses time he would be 3C and greig would slide to LW

I think MP is a really good player, but nobody is giving up a player like Pinto for MP with 1 year left. Given what Hanafin and Lindholm got, if MP were to get moved I think a 1st round pick is a good place to start at least

I certainly didn't mean to imply it would be a 1 for 1. But the pens don't want futures they want current roster players.
The trade market makes no sense anymore so it is hard to even predict trades/ values anymore lol.

I didnt think you meant 1 for 1 tbf but I dont think there is a world where trading pinto makes any sense. Unless its somehow in a bigger deal for a better top 6 C + another asset there should be no reason to move him. Still young, will be bridgeable at a solid price, and given his on-ice performance along with norris' uncertainty, he is already a super important 2 way #2 centre for us

Not sure why we continue with the Chychrun to Detroit threads.

Their issue is at RHD. If they're willing to have a leftie play on the right, they'd throw Chiarot on the right and let him play out his contract while ASP develops before they'd trade for Chychrun.
