In your opinion, not mine. Trouba brings a ton to the team and even if he is overpaid some they probably won't be able to replace what they lose by trading him now. Schneider is growing up quickly but could use another season with Trouba there in front of him and with the cap increase next season, Drury has plenty of cap room to keep the team together.

That’s great value for Trouba, I’d be happy about it even without Berggren (he doesn’t really fit a need and would just add to the upcoming middle-six wing logjam).

Schneider already plays the 2nd pairing role better than Trouba. Trouba should be on the bottom pair when he’s back

Goodrow and Trouba need to get the boot

Your opinion, and I disagree. All teams have ups and downs with scoring and playing D because its a long grueling season, but with all that, this team is 46-20-4, in first place in the metro and just beat the Bruins in Boston to sweep the season series from one of the best teams in the league, so things aren't that bad in my opinion. Come playoffs, the physicality and leadership that Trouba and Goodrow both bring will be needed if they are to go on a run. Come next season, I could see Goodrow being moved or bought out, but Trouba's not going anywhere.

Look how well the defense has been since Trouba has been out….it isn’t a coincidence. The only thing that has been affected is the Penalty Kill which Lindgren and Trouba are good at

Goodrow most definitely should be bought out. Trouba I know isn’t going anywhere, but there’s no reason he should be playing more 5v5 minutes than Schneider

Well, again, this is your opinion and that's fine, I simply disagree. Schneider has played well but he's not ready to replace Trouba just yet, in my opinion.

His trade value might have recovered enough so that we can trade him for a pick to get a REAL forward like AJ Spellacy.
