Good signing. Could have elected free agency this summer. So good for OTT to lock him down.

I don't think he could have for at least 1-2 years actually. College rules are a bit different. Not until he graduates I believe.

If he wanted to become free agent, he could have withdrawn from school and would be UFA 30 days later
